Something has to change. You already know that.

Individual Counselling for Anxiety, Stress, and Burnout in London

Maybe anxiety has become so familiar it feels normal. Maybe stress has slowly taken over until you’re running on empty. Or maybe you’re not even sure what’s wrong — you just know you don’t feel like yourself anymore. Individual counselling gives you a space to slow down, understand what’s driving it, and start to feel different. In person in Tooting, South West London or online across the UK.

You don't have to explain yourself here. I already understand.

Your mind won't switch off.

The thoughts race. You replay conversations, worry about things that haven't happened yet, and wake up already braced for the day. You've tried to manage it. It keeps coming back.

You're exhausted — but not the kind that sleep fixes.

Stress and burnout have a way of hollowing you out. You show up, you function, you keep going. But the flatness underneath doesn't lift. And slowly, you've started to lose sight of who you are outside of it.

You know something's off — but you can't quite name it.

Maybe it's low mood that creeps in without warning. Maybe it's a pattern you keep repeating in your relationships or your work. Maybe it's just a quiet sense that things could be better — and a feeling that you can't quite get there alone.

What Individual Counselling Does

This isn't just about talking. It's about actually feeling different.

Anxiety, stress, and low mood don’t just live in your thoughts — they live in your body. The tension in your chest. The shallow breathing. The way your nervous system braces before you’ve even consciously registered a threat.

My approach works with all of it. Drawing on polyvagal theory — developed by Deb Dana — I help you understand how your nervous system responds to stress and how to gently regulate it. We combine this with mindfulness techniques and self-regulation tools that you can use in real life, not just in the therapy room.

Over time, you’ll start to notice a shift — not just in how you feel, but in how you relate to yourself and the people around you. The way we engage with the world and our patterns of relating to one another can be changed. That’s not a promise. It’s what the work makes possible.

Burnout and exhaustion

Low mood and depression

Negative thought patterns and self-criticism

Relationship difficulties

How It Works

Simple, low-pressure process from first contact to first session.

1

Free 15-minute consultation

We start with a free call to talk about what's brought you here, answer any questions, and make sure we're a good fit. No commitment needed.

2

Initial assessment session

If we decide to work together, we begin with an in-person or online assessment session. This gives us both the information we need to shape the work ahead.

3

Ongoing sessions

This is where the real work begins. Sessions are regular, consistent, and built around you. Most clients start to notice a difference sooner than they expect.

Sessions available in person at 58 Huron Road, Tooting, SW17 8RD or online across the UK. Health Assured insurance accepted. Accepted insurance plans may vary by individual policy. Please verify your benefits before booking.

You've been managing this alone for long enough.

One conversation is all it takes to start. A free 15-minute call — no commitment, no pressure. Just a chance to talk about what’s brought you here and whether we’re a good fit.
